Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hey guys, I'm admittedly a pretty firm noob when it comes to skincare. My present routine mainly consists of cleanser wipes and a gentle lotion. I have same-face combination skin that's usually pretty low maintenance except I break out monthly with my period and haven't figured out any way to prevent/minimize that. I've been really wanting to develop a good skincare routine lately and I'm ready to get started.Thing is, I have an anxiety disorder and have had a hard year, and one of the behaviors I tended to engage in was popping pimples/comedones. Thankfully I don't tend to scar or get hyperpigmentation, but I seem to still be on an endless string of breakouts - they resolve a bit between periods but I am fairly certain I have been aggravating/prolonging them with the picking. I know this is a hard "don't do this" and I am definitely working on that and have a therapist - it's fortunately gotten/continuing to get better.I've gone through and read all the wonderful information linked in the sidebar and am ready to launch into product exploration, but I'm not sure how my past might impact this. Does anyone have any insight into what might best help my skin on the journey to get started?
