Beauty Tips For Body Care
I've been struggling to find a deodorant to control odor for years. Since I was a preteen, I've had an allergy to regular deodorants. I would develop a rash when I used brands like Secret and Degree. For a few years in my teens, I used Suave but would still occasionally develop a rash. Starting in my mid-20s, I developed some odor issues, which seemed to coincide with issues related to PCOS and endo. Since then, I've tried multiple aluminum-free deodorants, including Secret Aluminum free (still caused a rash almost immediately), Schmidts, and Native (both still resulted in mid-day odors which was a combination of the bad odor and the deodorant). I've also tried using 10% benzoyl peroxide in the shower on most nights and/or TO's glycolic toner. It can help slightly but if I'm active or have any stress, it doesn't really help. I've tried using those options on their own as well as in combination with deodorant use.I haven't been able to find a deodorant that actually works throughout the day and its made me really subconscious, especially because I didn't have this issue from my teens into my early 20s (it actually seems to have shifted - I had a harder time dealing with sweat during those early years and now the sweat isn't the issue). I really want to be able to find something that neutralizes odors. If anyone has any recommendations, I'd really appreciate it!
