[Skin Concerns] Superficial pustules from irritation, or something else?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
https://imgur.com/a/XrNtv2NLast summer (July), I used a salicylic acid cleanser that ended up pushing my moisture barrier off the edge (after having lived with low grade irritation for a few years) and I developed superficial pustules like these all around my mouth mainly that went away after a week of serious babying. I guess it sort of looks like acne in the photos, but there's no "core" to it, it starts as small inflammation, develops "pus," then goes away within a few days, which my acne never does.I was essentially in remission as long as I hydrated and moisturized my skin well but have not been able to use any sort of active since otherwise triggering these pustules again (though never as bad as when I first got them). Since then, though, if my skin gets too dry or somewhat irritated, I'll get these sort of pustules. When I moved to Maryland in the winter from LA (warmer, less dry), it was so dry my regular routine wasn't cutting it, and I started getting these regularly again. I tried adding more hydration/soothing ingredients but my skin keeps reacting with these bumps so I can't really add anything new. I also get these on my cheeks and occasionally forehead. I thought it was just my skin being irritated, but I'm wondering if this could actually be a different issue (such as fungal, dermatitis, etc), as even things like Cosrx snail mucin are triggering them. Anyways yeah I should prob see a derm, but I figured I'd ask the community if anyone has struggled with this before. I feel at a loss with what to do right now.
