[Product Question] What to do when hair removal cream no longer works?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Like the title says, I have used Sally Hansen facial hair removal cream since I was 14/15 to get rid of unsightly dark upper lip hair (I am now 23 f). I use it not regularly, probably once every 2-3 months, sometimes more depending on how motivated or bothered I am by the hair. The cream stings, causes a mild rash because it’s pretty harsh, so I am not very inclined to use it at all but it is necessary to get rid of the hair. Until now! The last three times I’ve used it I notice that it has failed to get rid of about half of the dark hair. It seems like it is losing its effectiveness on my hair. The cream isn’t expired and I follow all instructions to a T, it still burns and gives a rash, but the dark hair is still there. Is it possible my hair/skin has built a tolerance for it and I need to move on to something else? Can anyone speak to their own facial hair removal routine and give me some recommendations for a new product? Preferably gentle, but if it’s a similar reaction to the sally Hansen that’s fine since I’ve lived with it for my whole life. Thanks in advance!!!
