[Review] Neutrogena light therapy pen for blind pimples

Name: Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Spot Treatment- Used since Nov, 2020- Packaging is a box with product inside. Product is a smooth silver rectangular-prism light 'pen'- Positive effects: reduces inflammation and helps heal painful pimples more quickly- Negative effects: none that I've noticed. Don't shine it in your eyes! The website says 'Light therapy technology is safe and clinically proven to be gentle to skin. However, discontinue use if you experience any discomfort or skin reddening or discoloration lasting for more than 24 hours.'- This product should help clear acne as a spot treatment, which is what it has done in my experience. I prefer to use it only for painful pimples or blind pimples. It's not as effective on white heads and too difficult to use on blackheads.Overall opinion:I originally was going to post this as a post but changed to a review.I've had awful blind pimples ever since I was like 13. Nothing ever works for me. Five years ago, I had a Neutrogena light therapy mask and noticed that it really helped my skin but the treatments were too way too long and the batteries were expensive to replace because you have to buy their replacement batteries. I gave it away when I went overseas and didn't think about it again.Anyways, I decided to buy a Neutrogena light therapy pen a few months ago and anytime I feel a blind pimple coming on, I use the pen 3-5 times per day until the bump goes away (like two days). It has honestly been like a miracle for me because blind pimples are so stressful and stay for so long. I can buy my own AAA batteries and replace them when I want. You need a small screwdriver to do so.The science behind the pen is that intense red light works to alleviate the inflammation and the blue light has an antibacterial affect. The pen is a lower level strength than like in medical/laser clinics.
