Vanicream with zinc pyrithione helped my hormonal breakouts like nothing else [acne]

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hey all,I never post on here, but am super excited and wanted to share with others. Especially ladies my age still experiencing hormonal acne.I’ve had problem hormonal acne since I was 13. Combination skin. Mostly small postules and tons of closed comedones. Now 34.The acne waned a lot when I went on the pill, but for a lot of reasons, I had to get off it when I was 32. Been fighting hormonal blemishes ever since then. (But holy shit, I dropped 13 pounds without trying and you can see my abs now. I’m the trimmest I’ve been since high school. Sex drive came roaring back too.)Blemishes are bad enough that it’s sometimes minorly embarrassing, but generally fine enough that I can get by using make up. Tried different formulations of Curology, and it certainly did help, but I still have blemishes twice a month. Right before ovulation, and right before shark week. Classic cheek and jawline area.I used to use micellar water, neutrogena hydro boost with sunscreen in the AM, and vanicream pump face wash, Curology, and vanicream lotion at night. Still minor breakouts during hormone shifts. Finally, five months after the increased curology formula, I bought the vanicream face bar with zinc and used it in the mornings.HOLY SHIT guys - it’s only been three weeks and WOW. My skin is so much smoother, my closed come dones are rapidly dropping in number, and instead of the usual 2-3 small pustules I get, just ended up with a couple blackheads. My skin is SO much smoother!! And all with this small addition to my routine. My current Curology formula is as follows: Tret: .009% Clindamycin: 1% Azelaic Acid: 9%Morning: wash with vanicream zinc bar. some Korean snail gel that nixes inflammation and redness, followed by neutrogena hydro boost and some philosophy miracle worker eye.Evening: makeup remover with garnier miceller water, followed by rinse with normal vanicream (non-zinc) face wash, Curology, then vanicream lotion for hydration.New pillow case nightly. Also, always remember to re-wash your back and shoulders after rinsing conditioner from your hair.If this can help even one other person, I’d be super happy.
