Beauty Tips For Body Care
Has anyone faced this question: Should I buy Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant OR the Farmacy Deep Sweep Pore Cleaning 2% BHA Toner? I certainly have! And I thought it might be helpful to even one person for me to share my thoughts.I'm using a similar review format for the one I did on four different azelaic acid products which I think people liked! I've used both products till they're empty. I've given each product a score, based on price, formulation (how does it feel when applying and what is the finish?), packaging, and key additional ingredients. I have oily, acne-prone, dehydrated skin.I use(d) the product every night to reduce congestion/spots and to give my skin a glow. They are both great at this. However, there are still some specific differences for me that means I prefer Farmacy over Paula's Choice. Hope it helps!MINI REVIEW / RATING (out of 20)Paula Choice 2% BHA Liquid ExfoliantFarmacy Deep Sweep Pore Cleaning 2% BHA TonerPrice1 - I'm giving this a one because, let's be honest, this product is wildly over-priced [£28 (118ml)].1.5 - Similar thoughts to PC but this is marginally cheaper for a little bit more product [£27 (120ml)].Formulation (How does it feel when applying and what is the finish?)3 - The formulation of this product is good and it provides some hydration. But my issue with PC is the liquid is a bit "thick" and it takes relatively longer to absorb/dry and has a sticky feeling until it does. As much as I enjoy doing my skincare routine, at night-time I want it to take as little time as possible!4 - Similar to PC, but what makes this formulation better is that it has a much more pleasant but subtle smell and it's definitely "water-like", which means it absorbs really quickly.Packaging2 - Plastic packaging.5 - Comes in a slightly frosted green glass bottle that has a nice weight to it. Makes it feel like a luxurious product, which I love!Key additional Ingredients2 - Green tea extract.3 - Papaya enzymes, lactic acid, morgina seed extract.TOTAL813.5RATING SCALE1Poor / Not Applicable2Okay3Good4Great5Excellent
