Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi everybody. I’ve been contemplating posting here for a long time but my mother’s voice “chemicals are never good for you skin” always stopped me. As you can see from the pictures I have extremely oily and sensitive skin. Both pictures are taken about an hour after washing my face with the “Cerave foaming cleanser for normal to oily skin” and moisturizing with the “Simple hydrating light moisturizer”.That’s it. That’s my routine for both AM and PM.I wouldn’t say I have “acne” but I do get tiny whiteheads that mostly just stay “tiny”. My main problem is my extremely oily skin tho. I’m so, so sick of it. I don’t wear a lot of makeup, only the bare minimum (concealer, blush, bronzer, mascara) when I have to and with covid I probably put on makeup once every 2 weeks. Before covid when I did put on makeup everyday for school I would immediately take it off as soon as I got home since my face felt so icky and heavy because of all the oil. I never go to sleep with makeup on, always always wash my face before bed and in the morning so there’s no bad habits here.I’m also really annoyed of the tiny bumps on my face. My parents and sisters both have (and have always had) great skin so I guess it’s not genetic but I can’t figure out what’s causing them or how to treat them. I do shave my face with an eyebrow razor although I’ve doing that for over a year so I don’t think that’s the problem. My skin does get a little red after I remove the hair but it calms down in an hour or two.I’ve been using the Cerave cleanser for a couple months and the simple moisturizer for about 2 years but I’ve had the bumps/acne (I don’t even know what to call them) for a good 3+ years. Don’t know if age is a factor but I’m 18 years old. Please recommend products you think might be helpful for my skin. As you can probably tell I’m a noob when it comes to skincare so I would highly appreciate any advice. At this point I’m open to trying any and everything. I tried to include as much as possible without making the text too long, please ask if you require more details :) I’ve added pictures hereThank you so much :)
