[skin concern] 1 year on tretinoin, definitely more wrinkles

After a year on tretinoin (.05%), I have a lot more wrinkles. I wear sunscreen and hats regularly, and always have. In my 20’s people thought I was much younger than I am but now it’s flipped and I’ve been asked/assumed to be 40+. I’m 34. Anyone had tret just not work well for anti-aging? It did work well for my acne but I don’t know what to do anymore -laser treatments are too pricey- just accept being old? I can’t use it more often than every other night without loads of irritation. Many products, like everything CeraVe makes, break me out. I suspect the CC’s are from the lipikar balm but without it my face is a train wreck of dry irritation.
