[skin concern] I rarely breakout. My face is pretty clear. But when I breakout, its HUGE cystic pimples. How can I prevent them?

I already use sacrylic acid and benzoyl peroxide and that has cleared up most of my acne but my issue is that about once a month ill get a huge cystic pimple. For reference, my face is pretty clear right now but a cyst showed up on my cheek this morning and its about the size of my thumb. Ive been using mario badescu buffering lotion on these cysts but my question is how can i prevent these cysts? Thank you so much
