25 (m) here. Got full back and shoulders waxed 3 times now and first two times were perfect - no ingrowns! There have been gaps of 1 or 2 years between these waxes so definitely not a frequent waxer!However it's been 3 weeks since my most recent wax now and I have some pretty brutal ingrowns (big red bumps, sore, sometimes look a bit white when you put pressure on them and take it off). I did not apply any product after waxing and only started exfoliating 5 days after waxing (as was too sensitive) so maybe this is why I have ingrowns. I started using a brush while showering and it seems like the hairs might be getting closer to the surface now.Any tips on how to get rid of these ingrowns or will they eventually come to surface on their own? I will keep exfoliating but is there any product I can use or should I go to a dermatologist? I feel like I may have left it too late for the exfoliation to bring the hairs to surface as the bumps are quite big and then there are lots of small ones.Thanks I really appreciate any input!
