[Personal] I made sheet masks that genuinely helped my moisture barrier and wanted to share

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hey guys, DIY is a risky part of skincare and I’m personally always hesitant to get into it. I’ve recently realized that if I want to realize my long term goal of being self sustainable, I will have to figure out how to do it at some point lol. I decided to start really simple and use only ingredients I have 100% faith in and buy them at the local boujee market to make sure I’m getting a trustworthy product. I got black tea, sunflower oil, and local organic oats as I read oat flower often doesn’t have near the same benefits as colloidal oats. I added all three to water, brought it to a boil to make sure it was clean, and then put it in the refrigerator to sit for a day or two. I then strained out the tea and oats and put some silk sheet masks in there I got off Amazon. I have been using it during my shower before I cleanse (because it does leave an oily finish), and my skin has gotten so much better like overnight. I was so scared to try it that I almost posted here to see if anyone would warn me against it, but I’m glad I did because my moisture barrier has been in shambles recently. Does anyone have any trusty DIY sheet mask recipes they use? :)
