This is a story of being a Chad from Southern California while in northern Germany.Wacken 2018 was a hot, sunny, dust bowl. For perspective the year before was cold, muddy and raining so 2018 was a completely different experience.During the Behemoth set at one of the main stages, it was hot and the sun was burning down on the crowd like it was trying to cleanse the devil from us. I, being a total Chad from Southern California was prepared for this cause I'm always packing that sweet, sweet SPF. The surrounding Germans were significantly less prepared. So as I proceeded to reapply for the third time I noticed I had a queue of people with they're hands out, ready to accept my merciful gift of uva/uvb protection.After dispersing my version of holy water I was literally cheered at, hugged, kissed and bought a beer.Moral of story: apply sunscreen and bring some to go to reapply as needed.
