[Skin Concern] What do you do when your skin is super dry but heavy creams and moisturizers seem to break you out?

As the weather gets colder I’ve noticed my skin becoming tighter and more irritable. Every time I incorporate a heavier moisturizer into my routine I wake up with clogged pores and I don’t know what to do anymore. Product recommendations, suggestions, anything would be great!
