Beauty Tips For Body Care
For me, there is a direct correlation between: a) the effort I put into my skincare routine and b) my emotional wellness. Today was a hard day-I couldn’t manage a full meal, I felt disassociated and anxious. I didn’t bother to take my makeup off. And as I lie awake in bed now, I can’t help but grimace at the thought of my foundation sinking deeper and deeper into my pores, my mascara leaving smudge marks on my under eyes that haven’t seen a moisturizer since Saturday. Although I’ve spent the last few hours hating myself for tonight’s bout of laziness, I’ve decided: my skin will forgive me, perhaps I should too.This isn’t a reminder to take your makeup off at bedtime, but rather a reminder to give yourself grace for the times that you can’t muster the energy to do so. Don’t be so hard on yourself, you’re trying!
