Slow-but-sure improvements with SCA's help - thanks!

Beauty Tips For Body Care
In my first year of college, I didn't have any issues with acne. Upon returning from a semester abroad, I started breaking out with cystic acne around my lips. I didn't really do much about it, until things got worse after I moved into a new apartment last summer. Hard, red, and painful cystic around emerged around my mouth and chin. My skincare regimen at this point was pretty barren (I think I only used Lush Coalface and no moisturizer). I stumbled upon SCA, thankfully, and added a cleanser (CeraVe Hydrating) and moisturizer (CeraVe in-the-tub).To be honest, I don't think either of those products made a difference. I added a multivitamin and, more recently, fish oil, to my diet. For about seven months, I've been dairy-free; although there have been a few accidental slip-ups (c'est la vie), I've managed wholly to avoid milk-based products (including most breads, some granola bars, etc.). You'd be surprised how many food items are manufactured with some form of milk, or milk derivative.Anyway, I think the no-dairy diet has helped - my diet as a whole has improved significantly in the past year. But, I would still get cystic chin acne and eventually developed moderate redness in my cheeks (perhaps a form of rosacea?).My sister experienced the same thing upon moving here for school. She started using filtered water to wash her face, and saw significant improvements. I didn't think much of it at first, and kept with my no-dairy, healthy diet and usual skincare routine. After seeing marginal improvement at best in my skin since the beginning of the year, I finally decided to try distilled water about three weeks ago. Since then, I haven't developed any new cysts, and the redness in my cheeks has diminished. Also, about a week or so ago, I added Paula's Choice BHA 2%, which is unreal. So, things are looking up - no thanks to this region's hard water! I'm on the road to better skin, and you've been an incredible resource, SCA!Current routine:AM:Wipe face with washcloth dipped in distilled waterLet face dry, then CeraVe Moisturizing LotionPM:Wipe face with washcloth dipped in distilled waterCeraVe Hydrating CleanserLet face dry, then CeraVe Moisturizing LotionEvery other day, I use PC BHA 2% after cleansing
