Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hello there! So, I've always had (I thought) pretty dry skin. The skin on my body is ridiculously dry and flakey if I don't religiously moisturize everyday and I get flakes around my nose/forehead too. I always used to get a slightly oily T-zone (with SFs and large pores), especially around my nose and cheeks, which I assumed it was dehydrated skin. I never really had a routine (save for cleansing and sunscreen) for my face because I've never had acne or any major skin problems. But it was making my skin kind of dry and sallow, and I want to prevent wrinkles and have a better, more even looking skin overall. Now thanks to this sub and /r/AsianBeauty, I've been looking into introducing more products into my routine. I've tried everything, Vit-C serums, AHAs, BHAs, etc, even though they didn't do any damage they also didn't do anything for my skin so I dropped then and decided to go for a minimal routine. Which is: AM: wash with water, Mizon Recovery Gel (sometimes, not every day), then I apply sunscreen (Bioré Watery Essence); PM: oil cleansing (I have TFS Rice Water Bright Cleansing Oil, and the SkinFood Black Sugar Cleansing Oil); regular cleansing (CeraVe hydrating cleanser); and moisturizer (I have quite a few but the ones that work the best / don't break me out are the Tony Moly Appletox Honey Cream; I also use the Purebess Galactomyces 80 Eye Cream for the eye area, which I LOVE). Sadly, it doesn't matter what moisturizer I use, my T-zone gets ridiculously oily during the day, while the rest of my face feels fine. Any ideas why that is happening?? Thank you very much. :)
