[Acne] Derm: "Only Accutane will get rid of body acne." Your thoughts?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I went to the dermotologist a few months and she gave me a 1 second look over and told me I have to take Accutane to get rid of the mild to moderate acne on my back and nothing else will. I told her I have a history of depression and anxiety (and was at that time and currently undergoing treatment for panic attacks and general anxiety) and that from my understanding, Accutane should be avoided if you have those things. She basically said, "Well, do you want to get rid of it or not?" She gave me a perscription for Ziana, a topical, told me to get on birth control and see her in 3 months to start Accutane. The Ziana seemed to work well on my face before this recent outbreak. I have not started BC because my regular doctor doesn't want to mess with my hormones and mood while I am dealing with the other mental health stuff. Also, that derm was a bitch. In the past two weeks, my acne on my face and body has gotten worse than it ever has been. It's on my chest, all over my back, shoulders, upper stomach, thighs, neck, collarbone, and face. Nothing in my life routine has changed in the last two weeks. I didn't think it was severe enough for Accutane then, but now it might be. I am planning on finding another derm, but my main point of this post is: Have you had a derm tell you that too? Do you agree?
