Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi SCA, been lurking for a while now and I've built up a fairly solid routine with moisturiser, AHA and cleanser and have been at it for a few weeks now.I figured I should look into adding a BHA because I have a few spots and blemishes I'd like to squash, so I took the plunge and ordered Stridex.I decided to skip my AHA overnight when it arrived and use the Stridex instead. I remember reading that it dries your skin a lot and so I applied a lot of moisturiser.I woke up this morning and my face was super tight and fairly red. I've been applying moisturiser like crazy to stop the redness and dryness.I can only assume the alcohol in the product has done this, is it worth keeping at it but using the BHA in the morning and regularly moisturising? Or should I look into another product? My skin was doing quite well up until this point so I'm 100% certain it was the Stridex.I know I should have patch tested first, but I figured it would be safe as I've used similar products with similar ingredients in the past with no problems.
