Beauty Tips For Body Care
Months ago I had a cellulitis infection in my nose. It's a long story, but I was overtreated with antibiotics including bactroban. After that I developed occasional, light flushing from a small number of triggers. No big deal. But, I was worried. I went to the dermatologist. She gave me Onreltea/Mirvasa gel and told me to use it in the morning only if there is redness. That's all she said. She didn't warn me of side effects. After the first application (tiny dab to my nose) my skin went pale for 48 hours (prior to this my flushing was light and only lasted for some short time like ten minutes). After that the flushing was worse, non stop, out of control, extremely reactive to any dash of histamine (like in eggs, chicken, steak, tons of foods and vegetables or even just from eating anything sometimes). I didn't put it together. I used it 2 more times. Thinking it would prevent long term damage from flushing. But, it's made my flushing so much worse. I'm extremely reactive to food. I'm on a strict diet now. I can't eat at restaurants. I flush pretty much daily (sometimes multiple times a day), and it's much redder. I still fade back to pale in between flushing. But, I feel pain all the time. It's been a month since I last used it. Any other experiences or info? Is there any way I can get back to the mild, occasional flushing I had before using onreltea 1 to 3 times? Could laser help me? I don't have permanent redness, just bad flushing in my nose every day. Or could laser just make it worse. Maybe I can see some improvement in 6 to 9 months if some faulty mast cells in my nose die off and new ones grow? Or from time sticking to a healthy diet. Or just giving my skin time to recover and heal. Just some thoughts. I'm so upset and worried. This is also a PSA. Thank you in advance!
