I'm so excited! I have been wanting laser hair removal for years.I only shave my pubic hair when there is a chance I will get laid or go swimming. It is thick and painful. Even when fully grown out, it is painful to run my fingers through it. About 75% of the hair that grows has 2-4 hairs growing out of the same spot. Each individual hair is very thick. Even when completely shaved, the hairs are still extremely visible from under the skin.I shaved a couple of nights ago for the first time in a long time and the result was a LOT of irritation and a lot of little dots of blood. It was really disappointing because I was using a safety razor for the first time. I really thought that switching from a regular disposable razor to a safety razor would significantly cut down on irritation. I even spent time trimming the hair before hand. After that I decided to look into laser hair removal again, and I found a place that looked legit and had great reviews.Today I decided to call them, they had an opening, and I decided to take the plunge! I'm nervous and excited!I am also getting my lower legs done out of convenience more then anything else. I do experience irritation when I shave my legs but it's not nearly as bad as my pubic area. I have wanted my legs done for years as well. I just so happen to be the perfect candidate for laser hair removal with light skin and dark hair.My plan is to see what the results are like after the first session and decide from there if I want to continue. My hope is that it will mainly help to significantly thin out my pubic hair and I will probably be satisfied with that. I don't mind a bit of hair to manage, I just don't want the thick mess I have now. I will probably continue the treatments on my lower legs until it's all gone, but who knows.Anyways, if anyone cares I can update when I'm finished about how everything went and what it was like!
