[Skin Concerns] Differentiation between 'break out' and 'bad reaction'

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I started using Paulas 2% BHA liquid because my skin, being very white predominantly, was red in some areas. Using a BHA meant I needed a moisturiser, so I got myself one too. Using these means I needed a cleanser, so I got myself one too.My skin now, although 'whiter' in appearance and more evenly toned, has pimples / looks worse in terms of acne. This is why I think it could be an allergic reactionThe dots / pimples are localised near the eye region rather than my whole face where application of the BHA occursMy skin wasn't that bad to begin with, but now it is worse than before.I applied about 10 drops of BHA instead of 5 to my face (because I wasn't using it properly but now I know) which leads me to think it is because I over-used BHA. Another example of this is that ages ago I bought an acne cream that I over used, to which I got, more or less, the same physical appearance I have now with the BHA.I'll post a picture later if this post gets enough attention.
