[Skin Concerns]Are hot showers bad for the skin on my face even if I don't directly wash my face with it?

I use those handheld shower heads so I only use the hot water around my body because it feels nice but then after a few minutes wash my face with coolish temperatures of water. So is this bad for my face? Is the steam from the hot shower bad for it?
