[Skin Concerns] I had a freckle turn into a scab and fall off. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it worth seeing a derm?

I had this freckle on my face for nearly my whole life. All of a sudden it scabs and falls off. Now it's gone. The whole freckle. In the span of maybe 2 days. It looks and is acting like it was a pimple, but there was no noticeable pimple. It seemed to go straight from freckle to scab. Should I be worried? Should I see a derm?
