Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hello! I'm a female, mid twenties, always had acne prone skin with a lot of acne scars and sun spots. I'm embarrassed to go anywhere without a full face of makeup. I'm looking for some advice for how to improve my routine to improve the condition of my skin. I've read through the ScA routine and suggested products and while I can already identify some holes in my routine from that, I've read a lot of conflicting reviews about each product so I thought I'd get some advice on what to try!My skin is pretty oily/problematic and a lot of products make me break out. I only recently found a foundation that doesn't make me break out. Here is what my face looks like with no makeup: one, twoMy current routine:Morning:Cleanse with Arcona Raspberry Bar -- I love Arcona's products but they are not really wallet friendly... Also I've been using a lot of their products for a long time now and I feel like they are not as effective as they once were for me.Moisturize/Sunscreen with Cetaphil Oil Control SPF 30 -- This product has been nice in that it doesn't make me break out like a lot of sunscreens and moisturizers seem to do. I should probably step up my SPF game and I've ordered a sample of Paula's Choice SPF 50 sunscreen. If that doesn't do it for me there were a couple others on the wiki I will try.NightRemove makeup with Yes to Cucumbers Face Wipes -- I like these because they don't feel rough on my face like a lot of face wipes I have tried. Also, I feel like going straight to my cleanser no matter how well it claims to remove makeup doesn't work.Cleanse with Philosophy Purity Cleanser or Mario Badescu Glycolic Foaming Cleanser or Arcona Cranberry Gommage Exfoliant. I guess I just rotate through these 3 products as I feel like it...Moisturize with Caudalie Overnight Detox Oil and used to use Arcona Magic White IceFrom the ScA routine I thought I should add a chemical exfoliant instead (I was going to order a sample of Paula's Choice 2% Liquid BHA. I also ordered a sample of the Resist Pure Radiance Skin Brightening Treatment.Otherwise, I'm reasonably happy with the products I use in that they don't make me break out, but maybe I could make better choices. I should also add that I don't get regular facials (I've had like two in my entire life) and I would like to remedy that, so it's something I would be open to doing regularly if it would help.
