[Acne] Washing face before working out?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Some background information first. I am a 23 year old male with moderate-to-severe acne. I am also avid an gym-goer. Typically I go to the gym early in the morning before work. Since I always shower, wash my face, apply acne creams, and moisturize after working out, I figured I didn't need to wash my face before working out. After doing some research online, however, I found a lot of articles that recommend washing your face before working out because if your pores are clogged, then sweating from your workout will cause acne. However, most of this articles seem to be geared towards women because it explicitly mentions making clogging your pores (yes, some guys wear makeup, but I do not). I wash my face in the evening and then apply Aczone, Retin-A, and a moisturizer if my skin is dry (I've only been using these products for a few weeks by the way). So basically, when I workout I will have these creams on my face from the night before. My question is this: Should I still wash my face before working out? I don't want to over-dry my skin, and I'm not sure if these products will clog my pores the same way makeup would.
