Happy New Year, everyone!We have some announcements for you today :) User flair changeWe’ve improved your user flair: instead of the boring grey, you’ve now got a pretty blue background :) We've also made the font slightly larger so it's easier to read.Hope you like it! New "Helper" flairMany users on ScA are helpful, and we’re very grateful for that. But some users are simply extraordinary in the amount of time and effort they put into helpful and kind replies. They make this sub a better place. And to show our gratitude, we have decided to give these users a special image flair in the form of a blue star.The idea is that if you see someone around with a blue star next to their name, they’re likely to give good advice. So it’s a way of showing users - especially newbies - where to look for reliable answers.As we’re only starting out, we’ve decided to only give out these flairs to a select number of people and see how it goes. We will be revisiting the list in a couple of months and see if there are more awesome people to give the flair to. So if you are someone who helps out a lot on the sub but you didn’t get a star, don’t despair :)Our criteria:The user answers many (and we mean MANY) questions in a helpful manner. We especially value activity in the Ask ScA thread;The user is kind and cheerful;The user has been pretty consistently active on the sub;The user does not have an official warning for breaking any of our rules.
