Beauty Tips For Body Care
I haven't owned any of these products but upon doing a little research it seems like they are similar in many ways. People who own/have owned any of these products: opinions? comparisons? experiences? Which one 'peels off' the most dead skin? Who is the winner?Hammam mitts (aka hamam, kese, chaacoca) are generally used in the Turkish and Moroccan Baths weekly. Apparently made of either plant fibers or rayon. There are many brands on amazon of varying prices, not sure which are considered good or bad-- if you own one, which did you buy? After soaking in the bath you are supposed to use the mitt to peel/roll dead skin off the body.Baiden mitten is basically a name brand American hammam mitt. It has a ton of rave reviews and is considered the best for sloughing off massive amounts of dead skin, but it is a whopping 50 dollars. Apparently made of the plant fibers, not the rayon.Italy towels are purported to be similar or the same to their middle eastern counterparts, they are also used in the Korean public baths, and also generally used weekly. They are made of viscose, which is a type of rayon (I assume this is the same type of rayon the hammam mitts use). Much cheaper than Baiden. I am not sure if they have the same results in terms of pure sloughage.Salux cloths are Japanese nylon towels that appear to be a completely different type of experience from the previous three, but also very highly reviewed for body exfoliation. It doesn't slough off as much dead skin, but on the other hand, it is also gentler and some people say it can be used every day.How do these products compare to each other, and to your basic body exfoliating devices, eg. loofahs, exfoliating gloves, and bath brushes? How do they compare to chemical body lotion with SA like amlactin?
