Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hey y'all! :)I've been stocking up on some skincare stuff lately, and I noticed that I don't really have any useful emollient products in my collection. I usually like to have them in cream (moisturiser) form, since my humectants come usually in serum/lotion form, and my occlusive is Vaseline or good ol' Nivea (maybe not ideal, but it does the job). Now, I don't really have any specific ingredients sensitivities (as far as I know), but if there's one thing I absolutely hate in my products, then it's silicone. I just cannot stand it, it rolls like mad on me, and actually makes me feel incredibly dirty, even though I just double-cleansed and toned. I try and avoid it as best as I can - I don't mind them if they're low on the ingredient list -, but it's become increasingly difficult.I've used some Lush skincare in the past years - toners (+), a mask (~), and a moisturiser (-). That was several years ago. Recently, I've received a sample of their Vanishing Cream from a good friend of mine who didn't need/want it (she said she had enough creams to use), and I actually found it to be really nice! At least it felt very nice on my skin, which is now dehydrated-combo-dry due to Accutane, but used to be dehydrated-oily before.I wanted to ask you whether there's anything with the ingredients that I should be paying attention to? My usual routine is pretty good (or at least I think it's pretty good, haha): Cream cleanser, BHA 2x daily (not a very good one, though), AHA 2x weekly, glycerin serum (soon be switching to a hyaluronic acid one), Clinique's DDML+ (heavy in silicones but doesn't roll too bad), Vaseline in the evenings, and Bioré Watery Essence in the mornings. All in all quite okay, isn't it?Thanks in advance!xxx Minnie.
