Beauty Tips For Body Care
My entire life I never really cared about my face, and I assumed I'd always have terrible skin. After reading this sub I decided to try and start a regimen. I read as much info as I could, but the names of products and stuff really confused me. So I wonder if someone could maybe help me out. I am currently using the OCM, which involves massaging in oil (castor oil/olive oil) into my face usually while I'm in the shower, then wiping it off with a microfibre cloth, then I splash some toner on and wipe that off, then I put some SPF moisturiser on.I don't know if that's right or not. Anyway I have quite noticible SFs and I thought I'd be stuck with them forever before I found this sub... so I've done the above for a few weeks now but not really noticed any difference. I read in some of the posts that salicyclic acid is good and lots of people were raving about neutrogena spot stress control, which I received today in the post. salicyclic acid is listed in the ingredients so I am positive about it. It says that it's an 'ultra-light spot treatment moisturiser' whatever that means (perhaps I bought the wrong one?)So should it be applied instead of moisturiser? What's the general idea here? Should I use a toner with AHA as this one doesn't appear to have any good ingredients (and contains alcohol which is probably bad too), and if so can anyone suggest a suitable UK product?I live in the UK so many named products on here don't exist, and stuff has different names, so I tend to just go by ingredients. All help really appreciated, I think it's a bit tougher being a guy that I am going into this having no idea at all and it's not really a topic of conversation to have with your mates!
