Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hello r/SkincareAddiction,This question may also be relevant for r/haircarescience, but I thought I'd come here first since this dryness affects my entire body.I have had very dry skin since I was a child -- not sure if it's psoriasis, eczema or a different affliction (parts of my hands and elbows get red and dry, in and behind my ears gets dry and flakey, scalp/eyebrows/beard get flakey) -- I have just tried to tough it out most of my life since I am just not really sure how to deal with it effectively, but for my New Year's resolution I want to take some very deliberate steps in really taking care of my skin.Soooo,I was wondering if any of you have suggestions of ways to deal with my scalp. I wake up with TONS of tiny dry flakes on my hair and it's quite embarrassing. I can rinse them off in the shower or sink really quick, but by the afternoon they are visible again. >:(Here's a pic: http://imgur.com/a/rk2jZAs of the last month or so I have been shampooing about every 3 days, but conditioning/acv almost every day (sometimes it is every other). I sometimes also put lotion on my scalp, but it makes my hair feel weird so I don't do that too much.Any comments or links to resources would be immensely appreciated! What has worked for you??
