Beauty Tips For Body Care
Well you guys, if you have had acne or lurk this sub at all, then this is probably nothing new to you, but I just need to rant and get this off my chest.I've always had extremely persistent and moderate acne, however, I am on my 4th (starting 5th today) month of Accutane, and my acne has recently EXPLODED to the severe side.Recently I noticed that the girl I sit next to in class has been looking at me a lot, which I found odd since I sit opposite the screen, so I'm not exactly in her view. We're not exactly on a name basis (as in I have no clue what her name is). Anyways, after class she asks me to stay a minute. I said "yeah of course" because I'm the TA for the class, so I assumed she wanted to ask me a brief question about the lecture or notes. She starts off "I wanted to wait for the professor to leave so he didn't hear and jeopardize your professionalism. I used to have awful acne, worse than yours, if you can even believe it"My jaw dropped. I assumed she was going to have a normal question, oh you know, about the notes? Nope. She hands me this mask ,which is the functional equivalent to nail polish remover (acetone) and urges me to put it on my face three times a day and my acne problem will be cured. My face turned beet red, I thanked her and basically bolted out of room out of embarrassment.I do appreciate the kindness. I just can't understand why people get the idea this kind of behaviour is ok? My skin is not a freaking democracy, you don't get a vote. And the notion that my professor finding out I have acne (shock) would jeopardize my professionalism? What the actual heck was that?Anyways, it was pretty detrimental to my always low skin self confidence. Sorry for the rant. I feel better already just typing this. What are your acne advice horror stories?TDLR: Random girl from class told me to put the functional equivalent of nail polish remover on my face to rid me of my acne
