[skin concerns] Acne scars, what are the best treatments to reduce their appearance?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hello! So I'll keep this simple. Age 11-22 I had pretty bad acne. Went on Accutane at 14(ish) and stayed on until I was around 19. My acne is now non-existent, though I still get breakouts and spots it's nowhere near as bad as it was. My main issue now is the acne scaring left behind, mainly on my cheeks but also around my chin and jawline. It's a mixture of pinprick scars around my nose, and then marks and indents everywhere else.I went to a Harley Medical clinic (UK, England btw) and the nurse didn't really seem to know what she was doing. She suggested Dermaroller treatment, but said my skin was far too dry for it to be effective. Told to drink more water and come back in 2 weeks. I explained that being on Accutane for a few years has meant that my skin is so, so dry, but she just said that it shouldn't be this dry after this long of a time not being on the drug. I drank a crap load of water in the two weeks and returned, and she said the same thing. My skin is still too dry for the treatment to be effective and to return in another two weeks.I don't know what else to do. My skin is really dry because of the accutane, I don't think drinking more water will help. I'm starting to lose hope with the clinic, but I don't know what other treatments are available or if they'd even do any good if my skin is too dry for it to work. This is something that really affects me. It bothers me a lot. Basically, does anyone have any advice on what treatment would work best? Should I ask about a chemical peel, or microdermabraison (sp?), or keep going back about the dermaroller? I could try and book an appointment with a dermatologist through my GP, but this could take even longer and the last time I went they just fobbed me off, saying they couldn't see much etc. I feel that paying for my treatment is the only way to get good results and to actually have someone pay attention to what I'm asking about.
