[Acne] Tazorac (a retinoid) was great for my acne for 4 years, but I suspected it was making my hair fall out. Doing an experiment to see if discontinuing tazorac works.

I live in chicago so dryness is a huge deal for me. It not only exacerbates my acne, but it triggers eczema. I used to use sunscreen but got so frustrated with how much every sunscreen broke me out, irritated me, and dried me out. Any sunscreen recs would be welcome. I have tan skin so white cast looks ASHY on me, so I can't use a zinc based sunscreen. So, my old regimen with tazorac was the following:AMCeraVe Hydrating BarPaula's Choice 8% AHA Gel2 pumps CeraVe PMCeraVe in the tub everywhere but forehead Vaseline on cheeks (can't emphasize enough)MAC Studio Sculpt in NC42*cover face with scarf outsidePMGarnier Micellar Water on a cotton pad for makeupCool compress / wet dressing (hold wet facecloth on bottom half of face for 5-10 min)CeraVe Hydrating Bar + clarisonic2 pumps CeraVe PMCeraVe cream everywhere + foreheadWait 30 minutesTazorac gel 0.1% pea size2. BP ONLY ONCE on any given pimple3. I started breaking out really badly AND my eczema started flaring up! I decided to incorporate bp back in. I've been using the regimen below for about a week now and my skin is behaving.
