Beauty Tips For Body Care
My entire life, I've thought that I had seriously problematic skin--blackheads, cystic stuff, redness all around my nose, dryness, you name it. When basically, the only issue is that I am a chronic picker! I have a terrible habit of looking for and squeezing blackheads (most of them imaginary), but I had no idea HOW MUCH DAMAGE I was doing to my skin...After finding this sub last week, I made a promise to myself that I would just try easing into the beginner routine and see what happened. I ditched my nightly apricot scrub (::ugh::), switched to using my gentler morning cleanser in the evening (just cleanse with water in the morning now), added in some AHA every other day, and kept my moisturizer the same. Holy shit, after almost a week it's like I have a whole new face! I can't believe I have spent over a decade with this chronically dehydrated, red/scabby skin when it was entirely in my power to make it go away. It's like when I was squeezing stuff on my face (ew, sorry), in my mind, my goal was always to make my skin better--it's not at the level of compulsion for me, just a terrible habit. Once I decided to channel all that energy into making my skin better by actually taking care of it, everything fell into place so fast. Has this been the case for anyone else?
