Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hello, I'm a 20 year old Indian male and I have combination/oily skin that's somewhat acne prone. My skincare routine has been pretty basic ever since I started taking this stuff seriously at like 16 - just face wash and moisturiser - although I'm looking into getting the 2% BHA from Paula's Choice to help with the acne I get sometimes. I'm also interested in retin-A, but I know getting both BHA and retin-A, when I'm used to neither, would be a bit of an overkill, so I'm looking into getting the retin-A a year after regular BHA usage. The thing is... I have a few concerns. I've seen websites that dissuade brown-skinned people from using BHA (salicylic acid), but I don't understand the rationale behind it.I'm also not sure about getting started on a retin-A when I turn 21. I'm sure we've all heard horror stories, and while I'm in awe of its anti-ageing benefits, is 21 really the age for such potent skincare products? I live in a freezing high altitude desert in Northern India (Ladakh, elevation 4,000m+ MSL) and exposure to UV is so strong here that I'm not sure if the retin-A will even be a good idea. I wear sunscreen everyday, though. Thanks _^
