Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi SCA It's me your friendly neighbor who just started to get into skincare about a month ago. I've tried a handful of products, but my skin is still pretty much... Bad. I'm crying out for help now.I have what I'd like to call reverse combination skin, with SUPER dry nose area and skin around my nose/between eyebrows/weird patch on my chin being very dehydrated to the point where almost all moisturizers but vaseline hurt and sting. My cheeks/forehead are oily and break out, plus I am just constantly breaking out on my chin. Nonstop small bumps. Neverending. Eternal chin acne. Here's a couple pictures! Our bonds of trust strengthen as you gaze into the abyss of the most unflattering pictures I've taken in a while. Seriously I want to cry just looking at them. Here's my PM routine so far:mizon's snail repairing foam cleanser. (gentle, but still leaves my skin a little tight).paula's choice clear anti-redness exfoliant 2% salicylic acid on the break-out areas.paula's choice clear daily skin clearing treatment on the break-out areas.Last night i started using vaseline cocoa-butter deep conditioning on my dry areas, which seemed to help overnight.paula's choice hydralight moisture infusing lotion on the rest of my face (super irritating on dry areas).AM i just wash with water + moisturize my dry areas.at some points i have used aveena daily moisturizing lotion on my face when i didn't have a routine (super oily + made break outs worse... whoops), paula's choice clear pore normalizing cleanser once or twice on the affected areas, neutrogena's rapid clear stubborn acne on the affected areas (did nothing but irritate), PONDS clarant B3 correcting cream (irritating AF), aveeno's positively radiant daily moisturizer (irritates dry areas) and garnier micellar cleansing water as a second cleanser, but realized it was overkill. i still use it as a make-up remover though. (Did I mention I have no patience to keep trying out a product when I don't see results....? Here's a preemptive "I'm sorry for who I am.")I'm saving up for a shower filter + trying to end my lifelong war against the taste of unsweetened water, plus filing my divorce papers with steamy, hot showers. Other than, I don't know what to do. I'm starting to make peace with the fact that I might have to part with my good old friends cheese and milk, but I'm reluctant because the break-outs are pretty recent, maybe three or four months old. If my breakouts were a baby they'd be starting to coo and rattling toys. Also, lets just say I'm very good at sales, I got all my paula's choice products for under $15, so I'd appreciate a concern for my budget in the recommendations, pretty please and thank you.Help me Obi-SCA you're my only hope
