[Skin Concern] My Metrogel works in a very strange way, advice needed.

Beauty Tips For Body Care
About 10 weeks ago my derm prescribed me Metronizadole for my facial redness and bumps, so I guess I have mild Rosacea, but without a lot of flushing. My skin got worse from the moment I started using it, so I removed it from my routine after about a week because it wasn't bearable. Lo and behold my skin cleared up completely, no redness, no bumps, it looked amazing with just oil cleansing and moisturizing. Of course this didn't last because after a few days my skin got worse and went back to its state before metrogel. Started up metrogel again and this time for a period of 2 weeks. Same thing happened: skin got worse, when I quit metrogel it cleared up completely and then it returns to normal. Went through another phase of metrogel after that, 6 weeks this time. SAME thing happenend. Now I'm really just wondering what I'm supposed to do because I don't think this is how it's supposed to work, right? Here's my routine:AM: NothingPM: Oil cleanse with Hemp Seed Oil and a little Castor Oil Moisturize with Avene Skin Recoverytl; dr: Metrogel makes my skin worse, when I quit my skin clears up for a short period of time, then returns to bad
