[Sun Care] Dudes w/ stubble: best physical sunscreen!

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Long time lurker here. As a med student and as the son of two parents who have both had skin cancer, I've become slightly obsessed with sunscreen & sun protection. I quickly developed a sensitivity to chemical sunscreens (even the beloved octinoxate), which started a 10 month long (and expensive) search for a physical-only sunscreen/moisturizer for my face. While many of the physical sunscreens recommended on SCA worked great on my forehead, upper cheeks, and nose, they all would leave my stubble/beard area riddled with pronounced white flecks that even got my friends commenting. My beard doesn't even grow that fast or that dark (English-Irish-German ancestry). I say stubble because I only let it grow for a day or two.So I have 3 recommendations for physical-only facial sunscreens for dudebros w/ any amount of stubble, though #1 is tops3) MDSolarSciences Mineral Crème Broad Spectrum SPF 50 - A little tiny tiny tiny bit of whiteness (even 2% TiO2 puts up a fight) you can only see it if you're 1 inch from my face, but not farther away. Also, as others have mentioned, it feels a little like silicone lubrication, which is strange but whatever. 2) Cotz Sensitive SPF 40 - Good whiteness-wise, but leaves the skin a little shiny for an hour or so, but nbd. 1) Replenix Sheer Physical Sunscreen Cream SPF 50 Plus - Amazeballs. Perfectly creamy so I don't have to use any lotion w/ it. No white cast at all. No smell. Nothin. Just zinc oxide protection/perfection. God almighty holy grail.1 and 3 are on the expensive side, but with 6-figure student loan debt, it doesn't really faze me any more. Also, as a male who doesn't use makeup, I have no clue how these would do for those who do wear makeup (maybe you're a girl, maybe you're a guy; no judgement).(also, thanks to this weird obsessive skin community of which I am begrudgingly becoming a part, I have switched to using vaseline/aquaphor at night after shaving or washing my face and it's stupid how it's actually decreased my face greasiness/redness as well as ingrown hairs). Hope this saves some of you guys some time, money, and frustration.
