How much can preventative anti-aging and anti-aging products really work? [Anti-Aging] [Personal]

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hello skin care addicts!Question for you all - how much can anti aging and preventative skincare really help in the context of aging and vs genetics?I am a very fair skinned Caucasian, European descent. My mom is in her early 60s and for the first time ever I really notice her age - wrinkles, sagging skin, the works. She is my mom and I find her beautiful but there's no denying it. The last five or so years of her life have been very stressful with her parents aging and her sharing caretaker duties before they ultimately passed away.In contrast, I work with two women approximately her age who have significantly less wrinkles and sagging skin. One of them is of Jamaican descent so I can understand, but the other is another fair skinned European. I asked my mom if she ever used anti aging products or stressed about her skin and she said not really, she had a mortgage and two kids so it was never a priority to her.Long story short - if the writing is on the wall (so to speak) how much can anti aging products really make a difference in preventing and then correcting age related skin issues? Maybe when I get there I won't care so much but I can't help but think about it (and then subsequently feel like an ass because my mom is an amazing women, wrinkles or no wrinkles and I should not be so shallow)
