[Product Question] Could argan oil suddenly cause breakouts after months of using it?

After years of trying to find a moisturizer that would moisturize adequately without breaking me out, I stumbled upon argan oil and my skin seemed to fall in love. I've been using it now for about 2 months and my skin has been radiant, soft, and even my acne scars seemed to diminish. Then suddenly last week, my face got hit with the worst wave of pimples I've seen since in a year and I haven't stopped breaking out since. I haven't changed anything else my my routine (cerave ffc & oil at night, splash of water, oil, and sunscreen in the morning). Is it possible that it's just now reacting to the argan oil or could it be something else?
