[Product Question] I'm almost done with my third month of Dianette and don't know if I'm really seeing improvement. Should I keep going?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hey SCA,So as the title says, I've been on Dianette as prescribed by my GP for just under 3 months now (I was on Microgynon 30ED for 5 years before and was clear of acne breakouts until about 6-7 months ago), and I can't say that I'm seeing major improvement. My GP said that I should give it at least 3 months, by which point if I'm not seeing improvement we should reconsider, but I've heard mixed things online where people have said it can take even 6+ months to see any noticeable difference. (I'm 23F btw.)I had a really bad initial breakout around my mouth during the first month, the second month was relatively calm, but then this month I've had a few very inflamed breakouts around my mouth again (not as bad as the first month). Overall I wouldn't consider my acne severe; it's mild to moderate at best, with just a few small isolated areas that break out and then heal up after a few days/weeks. So there are periods where it's pretty calm with only a few active spots, then other times when it's more aggressive.I've been using my current routine for a while now and it's definitely improved my skin's texture and health overall. Before I settled into it, my skin was very dry and prone to breakouts everywhere; now breakouts seem solely concentrated around my mouth, chin, and occasionally cheeks.AM:Splash with waterApply Cetaphil Moisturising CreamWait, apply Dr Organic Pure Moroccan Argan OilWait, makeup routine applied with clean hands (NARS Multi-Protect Primer (SPF30), Liz Earle Signature Foundation)PM:Remove makeup with bareMinerals Mineralixirs Facial Cleansing Oil 2nd cleanse with Avene Gentle Cleanser Lotion, remove with cotton pads and rinse.Every other day apply Eucerin Dry Skin Face Cream 5% UreaWait, apply Cetaphil Moisturising CreamApply BPWait, apply Dr Organic Pure Moroccan Argan OilI just implemented Paula's Choice AHA 8% a week ago so I'm doing that every 3 days (am pursuing incorporating a sunscreen shortly).Skin type is combination/dry I think. Oily forehead, dryness around nose and mouth. My question is: should I keep going? Should I keep hopeful that I'll see an improvement in breakouts and see them stop for good with Dianette if I stick with it? Any input would be greatly appreciated, as my doctor - as lovely as she is - really doesn't have much to say. Thanks!
