Beauty Tips For Body Care
so, i've been lurking in this sub for a while, hoping i'd come across someone's B&A success story that previously had skin like mine, complete with a miracle routine- but i've since realised everyone is unique and that instead of hiding away i should just reach out and try to do something about my problem/s.i've attached pictures for you guys to look at here: http://imgur.com/a/tblG8here is a text rundown of my face-i have THE most oily skin ever. you can't see it in the photos because i showered about an hour ago, but imagine how your skin would feel like if you slathered it liberally with Vaseline. that's how mine is 24/7, unless i wash off the oil or blot it with a paper towel. my pillow cases are constantly stained with oil (there's so much of it that it also leaks through to the actual pillow), i can't wear my hair down, i can't wear scarves or turtle necks... etc.i also have incredibly red, angry, blotchy skin. the rest of my body is snow white, so my strawberry face contrasts horribly with it and i'm very self conscious of the redness. if i could wear an oil-absorbing balaclava, that would be just great.sometimes my skin looks really dry; i do not wear any make up on a daily basis but in the past i have used foundation and upon application it flaked badly and looked dreadful (before sliding off an hour later because, oil).i get the odd pimple here and there when my time of the month is due but that's about it.my skin is seemingly incredibly sensitive. moisturisers i have tried in the past specifically made for 'sensitive skin' have burned my face like nobody's business.when i was a teen i went on accutane to fix my acne, which it did. it kept the oil at bay for the first two weeks, but then i built up a resistance to it and it came back in full force.miscellaneous details about me that may or may not be relevant-i'm in my early 20s.i eat really well; 5 portions of fruit and veg a day, no takeaways, no fast food, nothing fatty or greasy.i currently do not have a routine. i just use a johnson's gentle facial wash once a day when i shower.i do not use sunscreen as i rarely leave the house.i do not wear make up whatsoever.i do not moisturise.i do not smoke.i'm in the UK.goalsi would really really love to get rid of the ever-present redness. i have honestly even considered bleaching my face to try and get it white to match the rest of my body but i know this is obviously not something anyone should ever do.i would love it even more if i could banish the oil forevermore. it gets me down so much, more than anything else.i would really love if you guys could help me figure out a routine for my skin, i'm a complete noob and don't know a thing about skincare.thanks so much in advance guys and sorry for such a long post, i didn't want to leave anything out. hopefully some months from now i'll be one of those people posting a B&A!
