[DIY] Growing spearmint for tea

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I've seen more and more people interested in buying spearmint tea, primarily for hormonal acne but also other hormonal issues. Actually finding fresh dried leaves is a challenge unless you live near a health food store or buy it online. Either option is to me a waste of money considering spearmint (mint family in general honestly) is one of the easiest plants to grow ever.http://imgur.com/a/z4uUNThe first photo was taken on 6/11, just over two weeks ago, the day I got these plants, pots, and dirt. I put them in the pots with dirt and took the photo a minute later. The other photo was taken last night, 6/27, when I got home from work. Yeah. You read that right, just over two weeks of growth on these. The trouble with spearmint isn't keeping it alive, it's stopping it from growing. If you have the space for a decent sized pot you too can grow spearmint and either dry the leaves yourself or pluck them fresh for a cup of herbal tea. My yard gets pretty full sun, the dirt I used is miracle grow for container planting but you can go full organic if you want, whatever floats your boat. Mints love water, I try to water them every day unless it's damp out already. Do NOT plant spearmint directly into the ground unless you accept your minty, overgrown fate.IDK if the mods would consider it kosher but as my plants get more overrun I may offer to send people dried leaves for tea just for the cost of shipping, I got two plants with that in mind.
