Beauty Tips For Body Care
I just bought the MUAC Fade Peel and a 20% Salicylic Acid peel from Skin Beauty Solutions. I have been using chemical exfoliants nightly for over 2 months. The results have been ok, nothing too out there. But, my skin is kind of hardy and so I have thought about increasing the concentration on both the AHA and BHA. I have an oily t-zone and my skin is normal everywhere else. Also, brown skinned. My current routine goes something like this:AMCerave Foaming CleanserPC Skin Balancing Pore Reducing TonerTimeless 20% CE Ferulic Acid (let sit for 20)Cerave AM SPF 30MakeupPMTake makeup off with coconut oilGlossier CleanserPC Pore Reducing TonerPC BHA 2% OR AHA 8% let sit for 30 minutesBadger Balm Argam Oil Beauty BalmI thought about implementing the peels maybe every 2 weeks. I realize I may have gone a bit too high for the salicylic acid (and maybe the fade peel) so I thought about cutting down the peel time from 5 minutes to 2.5 minutes. Obviously I'll be patch testing. But my questions are:Can I wear makeup after the peels? Are my Cerave Foaming or Glossier cleansers gentle enough to be used as cleanser with a peel?I have vaseline, Cerave PM, and also the badger balm, are these moisturizing enough to be used as moisturizers?I plan on doing the peels on Friday night. Should I skip my exfoliant on Thursday night just to be safe? How long do I wait before I get back to my normal routine. What should my routine look like the day after the peel?Thank you!!!
