I have oily, acne-prone skin. My routine is as follows:AMNeutrogena Ultra Hydrating CleanserPat dry with microfiber clothCerave PMPMDouble cleanse [mineral oil followed by Neutrogena Ultra Hydrating Cleanser]Pat dry with microfiber clothCosrx Honey Ceramide Full Moisture CreamI've been using Cerave PM in the morning for awhile now. Cerave in the tub definitely clogs my pores and causes me to break out and I just hate the consistency and how it feels on my face; it doesn't even feel like it's being absorbed. So I opted for Cerave PM which applies really nicely. It didn't really seem to be helping but it didn't seem to be hurting either so I just left it. I ran out of my cosrx cream (which is also a pretty middle-of-the-road moisturizer) recently so I started applying Cerave PM both in the morning and at night. I noticed that my acne started taking a lot longer to heal. Also, I had been neglecting my eye area so I started applying Cerave PM around my eyes as well and the next morning I woke up with flakes under my right eyebrow. Has it been drying out my skin this whole time?? Is it the fatty alcohols? Because the Cosrx cream contains fatty alcohols as well but it's pretty nourishing.
