Background: I have always struggled with some amount of acne and oily skin. Much of it was hormonal so taking the pill helped although it never cleared up fully. Usually I have a few big pimples a month. Then last year I started getting more breakouts (than the usual), and the type and location changed too. Instead of big ones on the forehead or chin I had a bunch of small itchy ones clustered together on my cheek.Current situation: A month ago I decided to try using cosrx BHA in an attempt to clear my skin. I did notice a slight increase in breakouts so I assumed I was purging. I have been using the BHA for a month, and while some of the initial spots have gotten better, I recently started getting small pimples on my forehead and chin. Can purging start that late?
