[Skin Concerns] I tried a glycolic cleanser and my skin reacted... poorly

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I bought the Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Cleanser yesterday due to the fact that my skin in the past couple weeks has developed approximately the texture of sandpaper and nothing seems to be helping. I do tend to have sensitive skin, and was hoping that the olive oil in the cleanser would help to not strip my skin so much and cause a reaction.Unfortunately, my skin turned visibly bright (tomato status) red and kinda itchy/numb/weird while using the cleanser and for about fifteen/twenty minutes after. I was convinced that I wouldn't be using it again and would be trying to return it to Ulta. However, once the redness goes down my skin admittedly still feels slightly itchy/numb/weird (it's been about three hours now) but it seems to have done the trick. My skin feels soft to the touch, much much smoother, and my remaining breakouts (thanks a lot Mother Nature) seem to be diminished. If I'd had the forethought for a before and after, I would have posted one, it's kinda remarkable.I don't really want to stop using the cleanser considering the good that it's already done for my skin texture and breakouts, but the (albeit short-term) redness and itchiness has me concerned. Can I keep using it, or do you guys think I'm too sensitive for it? If so, any other suggestions?Edit: formatting, because I'm a fool
