Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hello. My first time posting here.. so a little background. I am 32 years old, female, have dry skin. I have had eczema since I was 2 weeks old, but it got better as an adult and I also avoid triggers (fragrances etc). I have been told I have seborrheic dermatitis, I always just thought my eczema was worse where I have hair.My scalp is awful. It itches like a mofo, and it has a lot of redness and sores. I have been to dermatologists and allergy drs. When I was a teen I remember using some oil based rx that helped but wouldn't wash out. I have used ketokonizole shampoos rx and nizoral. (The rx in ureaic acid helped the most) I currently am using dsh zinc shampoo. I have also noticed oral medication like fluconizole helps a lot, also so do antibiotics.Now to the big mystery. I get these spots on my scalp that are irresistibly itchy. And then when I scratch at them I get these tiny perfectly spherical balls that come out. Once they come out the itchiness reduces and eventually the sore heals. I have scratched a scab off that has 7-8 these babies stuck to it. Or sometimes it just one. I have tried to talk to the derm and allergist about it, but they didnt care to see them and just said yep seborrheic dermitits and secondary infection. But these things are just so incredibly strange and no amount of google has ever resulted in a similar finding. Does anyone know what these are? What to do about them?
