[Acne] New to sub. What are your thoughts on lavender oil? Any lavender products you use?

My mom had a bottle of lavender oil (pretty big, around 12 oz, so I don't think it was essential oil. Could be wrong though!). I used a cotton ball and put it on my face, like a toner before moisturizing and going to bed. I thought it really helped clear my acne. But now the bottle is empty. I like the smell of lavender, but I haven't been able to find the same product.TL;DR: How do guys feel about lavender? What lavender products (if any) do you use?
